The next El Dorado Fire and Rescue Service (EFRS) BBQ will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2010, Noon to 4:30 PM  - Mark Your Calendars. The  2009 annual BBQ/Open House was held on Sunday September 20, 2009. It was a great success. This annual family oriented event is held in September each year to thank the community for its support and to allow the citizens of El Dorado to interact with their neighbors who volunteer in the fire service. EFRS had many additional activities for children at this year’s event.  Fire fighting equipment was on display and firefighters were available to talk about their experiences or just socialize.  There was great music and great food  and all your neighbors were there including a visit from Smoky and the Smoke House.
