The El Dorado Fire and Rescue Service (EFRS) will hold its annual BBQ/Open House on Sunday September 21, 2008, from noon until 4:30 PM at the main fire station on Avenida Visa Grande near the El Dorado Elementary School.  This annual, family oriented event is held in September each year to thank the community for its support and to allow the citizens of El Dorado to interact with their neighbors who volunteer in the fire service.

EFRS is planning many additional activities for children at this year’s event so even if you’ve been to the EFRS Open House in past years, plan on coming again this year.   Fire fighting equipment will be on display and firefighters available to talk about their experiences or to just socialize.  There will be music, your neighbors will be there and food will be provided by Real Burger. 

No parking is available at fire station 1 so plan on parking at the elementary school and taking a very short walk to the event.  EFRS hopes to see everyone at the BBQ/Open House.
