EFRS members responded to a small structure fire call in March 2012. On arrival, they found that the structure, said to be a chicken coop, had burned itself out leaving a pile of embers and two melted plastic water tanks. Firefighters hosed down the structure to be sure it was completely out and verified that the fire had not spread to surrounding grasses since the wind was strong that day.
