EFRS Firefighters Practice Advancing Charged Hose Lines (Click this title for more)

Members of the EFRS utilize many skills when fighting structure fires. One skill is the tough job of advancing a fully charged line (hose). During this training, members practiced advancing a charged 1 3/4 line and a 2 1/2  inch line. This activity requires a minimum of two people and preferrably three to safely and effectively put water on a fire.  Charged lines are heavy and stiff and usually have over 100 psi of pressure at the nozzle.
