Periodically, EFRS members respond to a motor vehicle accident in El Dorado or on US285. Members are called upon to do many tasks including extricating and treating patients who may have been in the vehicle, extinguishing vehicle fires that may result, directing traffic, and cleaning up after the accident. This MVA was a one car accident on Gavilan Road in El Dorado in August 2009. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.
