Engine 731

Unit E-731 · El Dorado Fire Rescue

Role

What this rig does

Engine 731 is our Type 3 wildland engine — the most capable class of wildland apparatus in the NWCG system. It carries more water and pumping power than a Type 6 brush truck and offers far better off-road mobility than a structural engine, making it our primary platform for extended wildland operations, interface structure protection, and mutual-aid deployments across the region and state.
